LOVE

So I find myself wavering in my beliefs about love. I have always been a passionate believer in love, soul mates and forever with "The One". I believed in fairy tales, that spark and happily ever after. I longed for my Romeo, my Prince Charming, or even better my Mr. Darcy. I was enchanted.... and impatient.

Now I sit here and wonder is love real? Is there really such a thing as soul mates? Is "The One" really out there waiting for me? Searching just as impatiently and vigorously? Have we all been tricked by story, imagination and hope to believe in this beautiful, powerful emotion to make it all seem that more amazing and worthwhile? Is it all really just infatuation and attraction? I sit here and ponder....

My views and beliefs have for now settled on these beliefs.

• Love does exist but some settle without it.
• Love does not always last. There are many kinds of love. Some brief, some enduring.
• Soul mates do exist but not everyone finds theirs. Some may not have one (still pondering on that).
• Love is beautiful. Love is cruel.
• Fairy tales sometimes do exist. 

That's all I have figured out for now. I have a few theories I'm still working on.

So I sit, waiting to see if I am right and I do have a soul mate out there.

P.S. If your wondering why I why I still believe some fairy tales do exist, well didn't you watch the wedding of Wills and Kate? Couldn't that be a bit of a fairy tale? Not that it hasn't been rough at times or that there may still be troubles but then again not all fairy tales run smooth eh?
